Description:
Develop and share technical knowledge about structured copper and fiber-optic networking solutions, supporting the selection, installation, testing, and certification of barpa products through training, hands-on demonstrations, and technical support for customers and teams.
What will you be doing?
Get hands-on with structured cabling projects: fiber optics, copper and racks, the complete ecosystem.
Install and connect components, perform tests and interpret certification results.
Prepare and deliver training sessions and practical demonstrations for installers, integrators and internal teams.
Create technical content and support the selection and implementation of barpa solutions.
Study and stay up to date with technical standards applicable to structured cabling, particularly ISO and CENELEC.
Support customers in identifying and resolving technical challenges, both pre-sales and after-sales.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality and Sales teams to analyse and improve products and solutions.
Requirements:
Vocational or higher education qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Networking or related fields (vocational course, post-secondary technical qualification or bachelor’s degree).
Knowledge of structured cabling systems.
Ability to understand, use and interpret results from certification testing equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both customers and internal teams.
Proficiency in Portuguese and English (C1 level).
Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness to learn, proactivity, organisational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Customer-focused approach, problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience in structured cabling or technical support roles.
Knowledge of or training in ITED, ITUR and other industry standards or regulations.
Certificate of Pedagogical Competence (CCP).
Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of Spanish and/or French.
